Accounting is the art of recording,

summarizing, reporting, and analyzing financial transactions.

Four Types of Accountants1. Consultants

They analyze, interpret and evaluate financial statements and reports for the internal management of organizations

2. Forensic Accountants They investigate white-collar crimes

including issues like securities fraud and bankruptcies

3. Public Accountants CPA (Certified Public Accountant). They

do auditing, tax and financial planning and providing advice about compensation and benefits

4. Tax Professional Specifically trained in the field of

taxation
