    The Document Rights Management (DRM) module of tmsEKP™ protects the copyrights of digital content such as software, audio, video and the likes, by enabling secure distribution and/or disabling illegal distribution of the data. DRM encrypts the content so that it can only be accessed by authorized users, and empowers the content owner to limit and control how the document can be used or viewed by restricting the downloading, viewing and printing of selected sensitive documents.

    This tmsEKP™ feature can support documents of a wide range of format, from Word and Excel documents to images (jpeg, gif, jpg, png), Acrobat and HTML materials. The DRM module enables permissions such as: View Only, View and Print Only, and Full Access Download.

    tmsEKP™ can work with Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and Image Processing softwares such as ABBYY for Linux and Windows environments to manage image to text conversion, forms processing, as well as conversion to searchable PDF documents.

    Scanned documents can be quickly converted into electronic files such as PDF, that can be added to searchable databases in tmsEKP™, allowing immediate availability of data and the quick retrieval of scanned documents based on their content.
