Florida Expected to LaunchABLE Programs This Year
The Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) Actallows persons with disabilities to save up to $100,000in a special account without risking their government
benefits. States must first pass their own legislation andestablish regulations in order for individuals to open anABLE account. Florida is expected to launch ABLEprograms this year! To learn more, click here.

Elite Athletes with Disabilityand Impact of the ADA
The Journal of Legal Aspects of Sport released a studythat highlights the perceptions of elite athletes on howthe ADA impacted their experiences as athletes and
persons with disabilities. The study focuses on personswith disabilities who used wheelchairs in a sporting
competition that competed before 1990 and continuedcompeting after 1995. The general perception is that
