Death is the term used to describe the cessation of all biological functions that sustain a living organism. Phenomena which commonly bring about death include old age, predation, malnutrition, disease, and accidents or trauma resulting in terminal injury. All known organisms inevitably experience death. Bodies of living organisms begin to decompose shortly after death.

Look from the beginning to the end of time. The secret of life is at the beginning of time, and the secret of death is at the end of time.

The secret of life is death. The secret of life is like a thing inside a vault. We know that there’s something inside yet we do not know what it will be. Just like death, we know that it is present yet we do not know when it will come.

LIFEAFTERDEATH

Life after death

Life after death can neither be proved nor disproved. This is because one would have to undergo physical death in order to prove or disprove it (and by its very nature, disproving it would not be possible). There is no actual direct evidence against an afterlife - only arguments refuting the specific examples of evidence for life after death as not being sufficient proof.

It is difficult for some of us to believe there is life after death

because it is all seems too incredible that we have a soul which leaves the body upon

physical death and goes on to somewhere else.

Prospect of Death:

The call of death

Page 28: acceptance of death..dennis

O Thou unknown, Almighty Cause Of all my hope and fear! In whose dread presence, ere an hour, Perhaps I must appear! If I have wander'd in those paths Of life I ought to shun, As something, loudly, in my breast, Remonstrates I have done; Thou know'st that Thou hast formed me With passions wild and strong; And list'ning to their witching voice Has often led me wrong. Where human weakness has come short, Or frailty stept aside, Do Thou, All-Good -for such Thou art- In shades of darkness hide. Where with intention I have err'd, No other plea I have, But, Thou art good; and Goodness still Delighteth to forgive.

Birth to Death

The birth–death process is a special case of continuous-time Markov process where the states represent the current size of a population and where the transitions are limited to births and deaths.
