RULES OF THE TILAWAT-E-QUR’AN COMPETITION This is an open competition, so any Tifl competing in his Atfal Group (i.e. Noor, Bashir, Nasir, Tahir and Masroor) can take part in it. Any of the verses from the syllabus can be recited. Any recitation of verses from outside the syllabus will NOT be marked. Participants may read out of the Holy Qur’an. Although, extra marks will be awarded for reciting from memory. Judges reserve the right to stop a participant at any point. The marks will be given for the following categories: Pronunciation (i.e. Tajweed & Rumooz al-Auqaaf) Delivery Tune Recitation from memory

RULES OF THE NAZM COMPETITION This is an open competition, so any Tifl competing in his Atfal Group (i.e. Noor, Bashir, Nasir, Tahir and Masroor) can take part in it. Any poem from the syllabus can be recited. Any Nazm delivered from outside the syllabus will NOT be marked. There will be NO marks given for reading from memory. Judges reserve the right to stop a participant at any point. The marks will be given for the following categories: Pronunciation Tune Quality of Voice

RULES OF THE PREPARED SPEECH COMPETITION This is an open competition, so any Tifl competing in his Atfal Group (i.e. Noor, Bashir, Nasir, Tahir and Masroor) can take part in it. A speaker may only speak on one of the topics from the syllabus. A speech delivered on a topic from outside the syllabus will NOT be marked. Extra marks will be rewarded for delivering the speech from memory. Judges reserve the right to stop a participant at any point. The marks will be given for the following categories: Pronunciation Contents Presentation Memory

RULES OF THE EXTEMPORE SPEECH COMPETITION This is an open competition, so any Tifl competing in his Atfal Group (i.e. Noor, Bashir, Nasir, Tahir and Masroor) can take part in it. Each participant will be given 2 minutes for preparation. He will have 2 minutes of the delivery of the speech. Judges reserve the right to stop a participant at any point. RULES OF ADHĀN COMPETITION This is an open competition, so any Tifl competing in his Atfal Group (i.e. Noor, Bashir, Nasir, Tahir and Masroor) can take part in it. There will be NO marks for reciting the Adhān from memory. Judges reserve the right to stop a participant at any point. The marks will be given for the following categories: Pronunciation Tune Quality of Voice

RULES OF TEAM QUIZ COMPETITION Each team will consist of minimum three Atfal from each group (i.e. Noor or Bashir Groups only). Each team will be asked a number of questions of general knowledge, from the Waqfe Nau syllabus as well as the Atfal syllabus. Each correct answer will be marked as 2 points and partly correct answers will be marked as 1 point. The winning team will be the one with the highest number of marks at the end of the competition.
