Kaplan's English for Academic Purposes (EAP) course allows students theopportunity to develop their language skills for use in an English-speakingacademic environment, giving them thorough preparation for eitheruniversity, college or another program from Kaplan.

COURSE ENTRY LEVELLevel 1: Intermediate orIELTS 5.0. Level 2: Higher Intermediateor IELTS 5.5 (Exit at equiv. ofIELTS 6.0/6.5, depending ongrade.) Students aiming toexit at the equivalent of anIELTS 6.5 level are expectedto be IELTS 6.0 on entry toEAP.

COURSE STRUCTUREEach week you will receive:− 28 lessons of English for Academic Purposes (21 hours)− 7 Sessions of K+⦿ Total: 21 hours + 5.25 hours of K+per week

Classes can alternate between mornings and afternoons. Your exact timetablewill depend on availability at the time of commencement.

ENGLISH CLASSESEnglish for Academic Purposes classes - focus on developing the core languageskills and strategies necessary for success in an academic context. Whileimproving your vocabulary and grammar you will practice tasks such as note-taking, presenting and essay planning to build your con�dence.
