Passenger SegregationAC2000 AE allows the airport or airlineto segregate arriving and departingpassengers by using CEM card readers.The card readers are interlocked sothat if one reader is in Passenger mode(for multiple throughput) the othercan only be put in Staff mode (forindividual entry).

Taxi ManagementTo ensure fair allocation of taxis atairports, authorised drivers swipe ata reader to indicate their arrival time.Booking software in the taxi office canthen designate an assignment and sendnotification to the driver and passengervia a screen at the taxi rank.

Check-In Desk EnablingThis module provides control of andreporting on shared check-in desks.CEM card readers can be used to enable/disable check-in desks or luggagecarousels and provide data on equipmentusage by means of an operator swipinga valid card. The system can provide areport on check-in desk usage which can

be sent to the finance system used toinvoice airlines for their use of thecheck-in desk.

Airbridge Monitoring SystemThe Airbridge Monitoring System isused to provide control over the use ofairbridges ensuring that only authorisedand trained personnel can use them. CEMcard readers installed at each airbridgeensure that operators must use a validcard before it can be used. The systemdisplays the status of each airbridge on

a graphical display and provides data foradvanced reporting. The system enablesairports to reduce maintenance costsassociated with airbridges, such as faultsand charge airlines for their use.

Vehicle ManagementThe Vehicle Management Module providesa means to ensure that only authorisedpassengers within a vehicle, e.g. carsand buses, can pass a control point.AC2000 Vehicles also provides the abilityto monitor and report on vehicle usagewithin an area such as a car park,identifying when maximum management

module levels are reached as well asreporting on vehicle usage patterns.

Equipment EnableUsing Equipment Enable feature on CEMcard readers, all equipment throughoutthe airport can be controlled andmonitored for cost efficiency purposes.For example escalators, heat curtains andfixed electrical equipment can be enabledwhen required and automatically shutdown for energy conservation.

Airport LinkAirports that are owned by the sameoperator can be linked and networkedupon request, allowing valid cardholdersto go from one airport to another.
