Abvent Educational License Application Guide Abvent, a publisher and distributor of cutting-edge software dedicated to the AEC industry, is committed to educating tomorrow’s professionals today. The goal of Abvent Education is to offer Academic Licenses to high schools and institutions of higher learning, allowing students to learn and practice with best architectural design software. Students enrolled in a full-time day course and teachers running courses at an academic institution can now apply for student software licenses from Abvent’s product portfolio. Student/Teacher licenses are currently free of charge and are valid through Sep-tember 30, 2020. Following a successful application, serial numbers will be pro-vided to convert the corresponding demo version to a fully functional educational license.

1. Visit the Abvent Education Site to create an Abvent iD and login.

If you don’t have an Abvent ID, click “Create an Account”.

2. Click “Individual license” in the upper right-hand corner of the page to apply for your Education licenses by filling out the form and submitting proof of your valid student status for the school year 2019/2020. (Teachers: please upload a corresponding certificate of employment issued by the academic institution.)

Note: If your school is not on the list:

- If you are a student, Please click “If your school is not on the list of Abvent partners, you will need to submit a request here” to register your school by choosing school role “student”.

- If you are a teacher Please send the following information to sales@abvent.com to add your school to the list:

• School Name • School address • Zip code and city • School phone • School website

Once the registration of your school has been validated, you can login to the Abvent Education Site to send your application for a student or teacher license.

Note: Students: Please make sure to send a document displaying in legible resolution:

- Your name - Your school’s name - Proof that you are enrolled in the 2019/2020 school year (It may be necessary to upload a document displaying BOTH sides of your student ID with the stamp for the current semester or submit an enrollment certificate issued by your school.) Important: A student ID card with a general expiration date will not be accepted.

The enrollment for the current school year must be clearly shown. Teachers: Please attach a certificate of employment for the current school year issued by

your institution. Incomplete information will be rejected.

3. Make sure you have submitted the request for validation You will receive a notification email after clicking the “Submit” button.

4. Wait for validation If your request has been validated, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail. Click “Go grab your software” to find your license under “Personal software license” of your account on the Education site. Choose your OS to download the corresponding software.

If your application is rejected, you will be invited to correct your application by filling out the form again and uploading a new document.
