Approach to Wireless Power Transfer Using Automatic Impedance Matching and Magnetic Resonant Coupling Wireless power or wireless energy transmission is the transmission of electrical energy from a power source to an electrical load without man-made conductors. With wireless power, efficiency is the more significant parameter. A large part of the energy sent out by the generating plant must arrive at the receiver or receivers to make the system economical. To achieve maximum power transmission efficiency, an automated impedance matching (IM) system is used by matching the resonance frequency of the resonator pair to that of the power source. Resonant inductive coupling induction is the near field wireless transmission of electrical energy between two coils that are tuned to resonate at the same frequency. This generates an oscillating magnetic field.

Wireless power or wireless energy transmission is the transmission of electrical energy from a power source to an electrical load without man-made conductors.
