During 2 years we were together informing and keeping you up
to date with our project.
At the end of November 2017 COR-Skills project is closing but
we would like to overview what happened during its
development and to find together new ways to keep it alive.

Who were our targeted groups?
Medical professionals involved in orthopedia and rehabilitation – specialists, residents, kinesitherapists, physiotherapists, nurses, intensive care professionals.
Managers /staff in the medical educational system, vocational training organizations and other training providers, universities, colleges and other providers of medical education, public and private Health Institutions , professional associations in the field
Pacients of orthopedic surgeries and rehabilitation
What have we done in our project?
We developed an interdisciplinary on-line platform with specific learning tools and content, supporting participants in acquisition of skills in the field of orthopedy and rehabilitation.

What were our outputs?
O1. REPORTS AND RESEARCH STUDIES
Report for the current state of art in the field of protocols for orthopedic surgical procedures and rehabilitation protocols after surgery.
The result of the literature research was a report for the current state of art in the field of protocols for orthopedic surgical procedures and rehabilitation procedures after surgery, aiming to:
- select the most common surgical protocols in all participant countries and the correspondent rehabilitation procedures – make first steps in standardization of protocols – develop interdisciplinary approach (orthopedics-rehabilitation
National reports in participant countries Analysis of learners’ actual knowledge and of knowledge needs for identifying the current performances and gaps was carried on in Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey and Denmark, as well as analysis of the VET in orthopedics and rehabilitation, correlated with the use of orthopedic and rehabilitation procedures in practice. The result of this survey was included into National Reports.
Transnational report Based on the results of the National Reports,a summative Transnational Report was drawn. Representants of the target group for all participant countries included over 230 subjects, represented by specialists in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (PRM), residents in PRM, physiotherapists and kinesitherapists, specialists in OT and residents in orthopedics on different levels of training and different working places,professionals in the medical educational system and stakeholders

O2. Guideliness of Operational Standards Procedures in Lower Limb Orthopedic Surgery and Rehabilitation

Each guidelines contains 12 standard procedures for hip, knee and ankle surgery and correspondent rehabilitation procedures. For each procedure there are correspondant videos in English. The text is in form of a book, in which the reccomandations associated with each procedural step are aligned to the existent medical evidence (figure 1) and is available on Cor-skills web site https://www.cor-skills.org/. The easy to follow guideliness enable practitioners to look up a pathology and quicly see the reccomended orthopaedic or rehabilitation strategy. Phases of treatment are defined to cleary show goals, precautions, tratment strategies and criteria for surgery or rehabilitation.
For each procedure there are corespondent videos, capturing in real practice the manoeuvres presented in the guide, enabling the user to watch the procedure that is presented in the text and ensuring a better connection between knowledge and skills development. Also the video material will create support for autonomous leaning practical skills for the trainees. The videos are available on the COR-skills e-learning platform where access is restricted by password.

Interactivity allows trainees to test their knowledge and provides immediate feedback using images and cases that they could encounter in clinical practice. This will function as a virtual medical environment, similar with the work place.

BUT ALL TRAINING MATERIALS ARE AVAILABLE ON OUR E-LEARNING
