About the advantages and disadvantages of technology. I mention in the piece that even though there are both advantages and disadvantages of advanced technology, I wish a more developed world, with great technologies. Today, we can’t imagine ourselves without technological advances such as cars, microwaves, cell phones, computers, and televisions. However, technology won’t stop here, but develop further. As technology develops, there are not only advantages, but disadvantages from them. A few advantages of upgraded technology are that one can save time and money and life will be made easier as a result of not having to do all the hard labor. In contrast, the disadvantages of upgraded technology are that people will loose their jobs to machines that will do the work for them. In addition, machines and robots are too complex for most people to use. Other reasons why I want advanced technologies are because they save a great deal of time and money. For example, if you are a wealthy man who always had trouble employing talented maids, you can buy a cleaning robot and use it for the rest of your life. Therefore, you won’t have to use all your time employing talented maids. Also, you will save a lot of money from not having to pay servants. Another example of benefits from advanced technology is that if there are new, developed vehicles that will transport people to anywhere rapidly, so that one would not need to spend all those boring, long hours in an airplane to try to get to another country, which will save much time not only on long travels but also on daily commutes. As there are so many advantages from highly developed technology, there also is a great deal of disadvantages from them. One disadvantage is that as technology develops, robots and machines will take over many jobs and people will loose their jobs by contrast. As people loose their jobs, they will have hard time getting money which would make it hard for them to continue to meet living expenses. Moreover, as people use less money the economy would be difficult to control and especially if it is a country as large as the United States, the problem will influence the world greatly.

Another disadvantage of highly developed technology is that machines and robots are complex. It is hard to activate all the machines you have unless you can multitask. Think about it, if most people have trouble on computers and almost all of us don’t know the actual limit of computers’ abilities, how will us, normal people, work with all the robots and machines? Moreover, just like computers, robots and machines will easily break and most time you won’t know how to fix them and one will have to call someone to fix them. People will loose their temper over this and it will create a large expense to repair them.

Even as there are as many advantages ad disadvantages of technology, I personally wish a more advanced world with great technologies.

Advantages of using robots

We can send them to dangerous enviorments such as the deep sea or warzones. We can use robots to produce products in factories such as assembling cars.Robots can also be used to build the parts for many products like plane parts, car parts and construction suppliesAlso robots are better at doing anything that we need to be precise, accurate and consistant.Another advantage is that new jobs are created because people have to fix and design the robots. An andvantage to using robots is that robots can work without sleep. So they can work 24/7/365

Disadvantages

Robots take the place of many humans in places like factories. So the people have to find new jobs or be retrained. So a MAJOR disadvantage is that the robots take the place of humans in several situations.Another disadvantage is that there is quite a high initial cost for the robot and the software and equiptment that you need to use with the robot. Also a disadvantage is that you need highly

Advantages1) Going to far away planets2) Spying on people in ways people can't move and from views humans can't reach3) Going far down into the unknown waters where humans would be crushed4) Giving us information that humans can't get5) Working at places 24/7 without any salary and food. Plus they don't get bored6) They can perform tasks faster than humans and much more consistently and accurately7) They can capture moments just too fast for the human eye to get, for example the Atlas detector in the LHC project can capture ~ 600000 frames per second while we can see at about 608) Most of them are automatic so they can go around by themselves without any human interference9) They can entertain us and help us in certain tasks

Disadvantages1) People can lose jobs in factories2) It needs a supply of power3) It needs maintenance to keep it running4) It costs money to make or buy a robot

And here the Advantages of robots

• Robotics and automations can increase safety, reliability, production amount, profit,

quality and quantity of products in a lot of cases.

• They can do jobs in dangerous situations and save lives of thousands of people.

• They do not care about the comfort of their environment. Human needs such as

hunger or depression have no meanings for them. They do not get tired.

• Their accuracy is so high and is in the range of millimeters or even micrometers

Space exploration

Advantages

- learning more about the universe and its creation - mining minerals on the moon and planets - producing products in zero-gravity environments - expanding scientific research (inventing new products, "spinoffs")- understanding the human body better- general prestige for countries like China, Japan and India

- expanding our environment and saving humanity in case of global destruction

Disadvantages

- the possible loss of life; yet playing golf can be deadly too - possibility of infection from alien viruses and bacteria yet comets spread these too- high costs which could be used to help the needy or sponsor other experiments, yet money spent on all the space programs is paid to suppliers, services and personnel who again pay taxes. No cash is ever "lost" or "wasted" in space. - There would be a high economic loss and some difficulty may appear.
