Conejo Solar

Chile Vision: Conejo Solar
Pattern Chile Development Holdings SpA, a subsidiary of Pattern Energy Group LP, is constructing the first phase of its Conejo Solar PV project (Conejo Solar)
Located approximately 30 kilometers east of Taltal in the Atacama Desert
The 122 megawatts (MW) Conejo Solar project is one of the largest solar projects in Latin America
Funded with an investment of USD $205 million in project financing
Conejo Solar is located on public lands owned by the government of Chile, under a long-term concession by the National Assets Ministry

Construction of the project is expected to be complete during the summer of 2016
The project will connect to the Sistema Interconectado Central (SIC) transmission system
Conejo Solar has a 22-year power purchase agreement with Minera Los Pelambres, an affiliate of Antofagasta Minerals, for approximately 65% of the project’s output over the term of the agreement

Pattern Development built Chile’s largest wind power facility: 115 MW El Arrayán Wind
Located 400 km north of Santiago on the Chilean coast
Completed in the summer of 2014
Generates clean, renewable power equal to the needs of approximately 200,000 Chilean homes each year
