Dear Doctor, We extend our cordial invitation to participate in the National Conference and Live demonstration Workshop on Proctology, Jointly organised by Sushrut Proctology Association and PG Department of ShalyaTantra, National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur on 2nd and 3rd February, 2019. We have invited national experts to participate in the Conference and Workshop. We will be telecasting the Proctology Procedures live from the OT to our Conference Hall. The conference will focus on the various latest techniques and strategies to overcome practical difculties. The conference offers you a chance of updating your knowledge and surgical skills. The conference will provide common platform for exchange of ideas among the experts and scholars with active participation through live operative procedures, discussions, interactive sessions and guest lectures by eminent Ayurvedic and Allopathic surgeons.
ABOUT OUR INSTITUTION
National Institute of Ayurveda is an apex Institute of the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India for promoting the growth and development of Ayurveda as a model Institute for evolving high standards of Teaching, Training, Research and Patient Care activities with incomparable academic standards in the eld of Ayurveda at Under Graduate, Post-Graduate, Post-Doctoral, DAN& P and Certicate levels and also to invoke scientic outlook to the knowledge of Ayurvedic System of Medicine. Post-graduate Department of ShalyaTantra is dealing with surgical aspects of the system through imparting quality patient care, teaching, hand to hand surgical training and various research activities. The department has its own OPD (General Shalya, Anorectal & Orthopedic), IPD, Minor Operation theatre (Sastra Karma, Kshara Karma, Kshara Sutra, Agnikarma & Raktamokshana Units), Endoscopy and Major Operation theatre.
ABOUT SUSHRUT PROCTOLOGY ASSOCIATION
The Association started 7 years back with non-prot making, aiming to update the knowledge and practical skills of the practitioners of the anorectal eld with the following objectives -
• Promoting and propagating Ayurveda practices of anorectal eld and sharing of knowledge and practical skills of the eld amongst its members.
• To organize Seminars, Conferences, Live demonstration workshops, Updates etc.• To inspire, help and support students and new practitioners of the eld.• To conduct free diagnostic camps, especially in rural and tribal areas, for providing the best
treatments to the under privileged people of the society.
OPERATIVE PROCEDURES WILL BE PERFORMED FOR THE FOLLOWING ANORECTAL DISEASES:
• Internal Haemorrhoids, External Haemorrhoids, Interno-external Haemorrhoids• Anal ssure• Fistula-in-ano (Sub-mucous, Inter-sphincteric, Trannssphincteric, Horseshoe,
Supralevator, Rectovaginal, Intramuscular etc.)• Rectal prolapse• Pilonidal sinus• Benign Ano-rectal conditions.
