About Deimos ImagingDeimos Imaging, a subsidiary of UrtheCast Corp., is one of the world leading satellite imagery provider and owns and operates the DEIMOS-1 and DEIMOS-2 satellites. Deimos Imaging provides high-quality services to clients worldwide, including imagery from our own constellation of satellites and from the satellites of our partners such as the PanGeo Alliance, and value-added applications in a wide range of fields.

Deimos-2Deimos-2 is an agile satellite for cost-effective dependable and high-resolution Earth Observation (EO) applications. It provides 75-cm pan-sharpened images with a 12-km swath from its orbital altitude of 620 km. A notable feature of Deimos-2 is the capability to acquire high resolution stereoscopic imagery. The stereo images are collected on the same orbit with suitable angles optimal for stereo viewing and manipulation. The Deimos-2 Stereo Product is composed by two images for which the angular difference can be adjusted. The main parameter characterizing the stereoscopic capability of a system is the Base-over-Height (B/H) ratio (see figure).
