–Anti-Slavery Meeting– JUNE 23rd at The Millton Town Square, 16270 First Ave, Pennsylvania (PA) Open to the Public and all others interested in outlawing slavery This week's meeting will be featuring a lecture from the renowned abolitionist , Harriet Tubman. This woman will be giving moving speeches on the treatment of slaves, her past experiences with slavery, and her actions in saving those who have been living live as a slave. The speech will be held at noon, and will continue in two-hour rotations until 6:30 where you will be able to personally speak to the woman who changed hundreds of lives with her actions. Her speech will move those who believe, or even disbelieve in the abolitionist cause, so don't miss out. With a Featured Presentation from guest speaker Harriet Tubman. With famous supporters, we can begin this end to slavery, The abolition of slavery will be tough to present to a southern-driven Congress, but as we grow and continue to make our selves a known force, we will be respected, and slavery will end. Our goals we expect to meet at this meeting •A formidable argument we can bring up to Congress. •Grow as a group, gain power & popularity. •Continue our journey as we hope to abolish slavery throughout our country. Why YOU should support the idea of abolition (anti- slavery) •Slavery is a dehumanizing process that deprives the rights everyone earns once they step foot on this country, and slavery is like an imprisonment, which is punishing people who just seek a fair opportunity in this country, like we all have been given. What we seek/support: •We support American Anti-Slavery Society, which created immediate emancipation and racial equality for African- Americans. •Not only end slavery, but protect the rights of newly- freed slaves.
