Whilst the Government are still reporting the word ‘recession’ businesses are still very sceptical about spending too much money on their workplace environments. Most business understand that it is important to provide their sta� with a pleasant working environment but always fear that even a minor spruce up will break the bank. Fear not, as we have recently worked with a top 50 UK client to assist with the design and refresh of their reception areas and open plan o�ces all to a very tight budget. All the sta� are thrilled with their new environment despite the initial negative feelings towards moving to a very old, industrial type building from a very modern purpose built o�ce development.

Dare we mention the word ‘Summer’? Well it’s that time of year again to be thinking about how you could make more use of your outdoor space. Lots of people are talking about walking meetings these days as they are far less distracting with the added bene�t of taking in some fresh air. It can be stacked very tightly to save space, with the legs lying �at against each other.

More and more business are changing they way their employees work. We no longer operate in an 9-5 mentality, thanks to recent technology advances, and much more importantly, not all business roles require a desk to work so the need for banks and banks of traditional desk is becoming less and less.
