    B. $lease give your brief summary of the history of conflict situation in Mindanao and )ulu. I know that

    there are different views on the Mindanao 6onflict and I would like to hear your views.

     Answer7 %he long*struggle and conflict in Mindanao is attributed to the issue of land grabbing by settlers

    from original inhabitants of Mindanao. )uch caused greater violence which until now is prevalent. %he

    century old armed struggle is caused by the continuous poverty and structural violence that hits Mindanao.

    )uch increase of incidences of violence is further caused by the biases and pre9udices we have over another 

    due to the differences we have in terms of race, culture and religion, gender and se1 and other orientations.

    0or me, this is the main brief od the conflict in Mindanao that had resulted to the formation of many

    revolutionary groups in the country.

    minorities. iversity means :have many,; such as many religions, ethnicities, and cultures.

     Answer 7 iversity in the $hilippines is prevalent in terms of religion and ethnicities. %he $hilippines is a

    6atholic country which isolates the Muslim in Mindanao areas. 4f course in terms of religion, the 6hristian is

    ma9ority in the $hilippines. %he culture being observed in government where we have the ma9ority and

    minority in the congress best represent the divisions in our society. 5ven if there e1ist this social stigma,everyone is being given the needed representation. #e label ourselves with such due to population or

    numbers.

     Answer7 iversity is not a problem in the$hilippines. It is to be celebrated as it promotes greater appreciation

    of who we are. %he term has been used by so many as an advantage point for tourism industry. ecause we

    are different from one another, this signify that we sometimes differ from points of view and how we look at

    things, but above all, these are inspirations. %his make us so unique.
