ALL DOLLED UP
MATERIALS
Background Piece 10 1/2” x 12 1/2” Fabric Scraps
Double Sided Fusible Interfacing (we use Steam-a-Seam 2)
Riley Blake Crocheted Flower (or flower of your choice)
Fabric Paint or Markers for face
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Reverse each template and trace onto interfacing.
2. Iron the interfacing to the wrong side of the fabric. Cut out each template.
3. Lay the hair piece over the face and light trace the out line of the hair onto the face. Paint
the eyes, nose and mouth on the face. The eyelashes were drawn on with an extra fine point
sharpie.
4. Position the shoe and legging pieces onto the body and iron into place. Add the top and bottom bands to the dress and iron into place.
5. Lay out all the pieces on the block to make sure each piece is in the right place. Remember
there is a 1/4” seam allowance on each side.
6. Start with the scrolls and iron into place. Next iron the body and hair into place. Add the
arms and the dress. Be sure the right arm goes over the dress.
7. After all pieces have been ironed into place, use your favorite appliqué stitch and stitch
around each piece.
8. Add flower to doll’s hair.
