Address Challenges • Get as self sufficient as possible/practical

– All cell sites have batteries– Most sites have generators

• Challenges in some areas• Lots of built in redundancy

– SONET Rings– Layer 3 routing– Alternate paths

• Build Relationships with CI providers• Have COWs, COLTs, GOATs and RATs• Emergency microwave• Resources available on a national scale • CUEA Member
