What is Social Networking?
•Grouping of individuals into specifics groups like a community or a subdivision online.•Online social networking websites are commonly used.•Boomers are the fastest-growing age segment on social-networking sites and many log on at least once a day.
Why?
• Great way to stay connected with family members and friends
• To stay up to date what AARP is doing in Annapolis and DC
• Post pictures, stories
• Develop new friendships
• It’s FREE!!!

The Top Social Sites
• Facebook- has more than 200 million active users
• Twitter- 3 million tweets a day
FACT: Women 50+ are the fastest growing users of Facebook
