• New or renewing member (if you have ever been an AAMA member): Join on or after July 1, 2021,* and receive membership through De-cember 31, 2022.

• Student member: Join prior to graduation to qualify for the student dues rate.

AAMA membership dues are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. Dues may be deductible as ordinary and necessary business expenses.

Student members must select a one- or two-year student member-ship.

The amounts represent the total dues for national, state, and local chapter levels. (See dues table on reverse side.) With the permission of their state societies, some chapters may charge a higher amount of dues. Contact the AAMA Membership Department if you have any questions.

To show its support of medical assistants who have faced hardships dur-ing the COVID-19 crisis—and that we’re all in this together—the AAMA Board of Trustees (BOT) approved the following dues changes for the upcoming membership year:

• More months of membership! Anyone who is not a member as of June 30, 2021, and joins on or after July 1, 2021, will be given mem-bership through December 31, 2022.

• Discounted membership dues submitted online! Sign up for mem-bership (active, associate, or affiliate) via the online method between July 1 and October 31 (midnight) and receive an $8 discount! This discount applies to both new and renewing members.
