NOTICE INVITING QUOTATIONS

The Airport Director, Visakhapatnam Airport, on behalf of the Chairman, Airports Authority of India invites quotations to recertify Airports Authority of India, Visakhapatnam Airport for ISO 9001:2008 for Three years Period and Internal Auditors Training for Two days for a group of 8 Members.

This Airport was certified for ISO 9001:2000 from 2008 onwards and

recertified for ISO 9001:2008 standards in 2011 as the system is already in place and Certificate valid up to 20.04.2013.

Quotations should be submitted either in person or by post, in a sealed

envelop and superscribed as ‘Quotations for ISO 9001:2008 Re-Certification- Visakhapatnam Airport and Internal Auditors Training for Two days for a group of 8 Members’, with reference number & date and addressed to:

Name of Work: To recertify Airports Authority of India, Visakhapatnam Airport against ISO 9001:2008 standards and Internal Auditors Training for Two days for a group of 8 Members. Proposed scope of certification shall include the following core processes:

Provide, Maintain & Operate Infrastructure Facilities comprising of Airport Terminal, Communication, Navigation & Survivallance and Airport Security Services for Domestic, International Passengers and Charted Flights including Passenger Cargo. Terms and Conditions: 1. The Certifying Body should be accredited for Airport related functions, i.e.,

field 31 (Transport, Storage and communications). The scope of airport certification for QMS should be clearly indicated in the accredited certificate with evidence.

2. The Certifying body should be registered with Quality Council of India / National Accreditation Board of Certifying Bodies for QMS and evidenced in the quotation.

3. Certification bodies operating as branch office / Franchisee of the foreign certification bodies only need not apply.

4. Amount quoted must include fees for the following processes with break ups for the same. a) Conduct of one day pre assessment audit including application fee if any, b) Internal Auditors Training for Two days for a group of 8 Members c) Certification Audit and Certification Fee. c) 3 surveillance audits in 3 years (during the certification period). d) Other incidental charges including boarding, lodging, travelling expenses

and service tax or ay other applicable taxes for the complete process. 5. No advance payment will be made by Airport Authority of India,

Visakhapatnam. The fees will be paid on completion of each of the above processes, for the completed process as per Schedule of Quantities.

6. Airport Authority of India, Visakhapatnam will provide the QMS documentation as soft copies to the certifying agencies before the audit, if required.

7. Quotations received beyond the due date / time will not be accepted. 8. AAI reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotations without assigning

any reasons thereof. 9. ARBITRATION: All disputes or differences of any kind whatsoever arising out of or in connection with the contract or the carrying out of the work, whether during the progress of the work or after the completion and whether before or after the termination, abandonment or breach of the contract shall be referred to by either party (AAI or the vendor) to the arbitration of a single arbitrator acceptable to both parties. The arbitration shall be deemed to be submission within the meaning of Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 or any statutory modification thereof. The venue for arbitration shall be Visakhapatnam. All disputes shall be subject to jurisdiction of Courts in Visakhapatnam. NOTE:
