A YEAR IN ROOM 16

August /Beginning In August we weren’t doing hard stuff We had easy math, not much homework

and nothing with AR We had lots of Friday fun and word puzzles

that everybody would do

September In September extra credit came along and lots of people did

it Mrs. Nam also told us about her website Where she had mind games for kids and news for parents We were also informed that we would have Russian pen

pals Also two new students came named Lukas and Sarah We also did California Cookies

October October was when Halloween came along

and everybody was excited We also started moving into writing stories

also more brain games We also sent a Halloween video to our pen

pals We also got into more think tank games

November November was when some kids learned to

edit are Russian pen pal videos Others were all excited for Thanksgiving Lots of AR came along and some kids

scored over 75 points We also started learning about magnets

and electricity

December/Middle By December we were finishing up

magnets and electricity Also we had winter break cutting two

weeks of school We also started learning cursive and using

it a lot

January In January we wrote our New Years

Resolutions We also started learning about scholars Also students were starting to bring in think

tanks

February In February we celebrated Valentines

day We also got together with are 1st grade

buddies And we sent a Valentines Day video to

our Russian pen pals

March In March we celebrated St.Patricks day And we started learning about

government and Patty Reeds doll And we were informed we would get to

go to the state capitol and Sutters Fort

April

In April we took a trip to state capitol and Sutters Fort

And at Sutters fort they shot a cannon And everybody was excited

May

In May we sent poems to are Russian pen pals

And we started on holiday power points Also at the end we tried a website like

face book for the class We also went to the Audubon

June

In June school was almost out everybody was looking forward to that

We also went to the Oakland Museum
