A View from my window Fajr Fatima, Grade 7 From my window, I can see many flowers and even a banana tree. There are cars parked outside the driveways of our neighborhood. Its evening and I can see children playing, among them my brother and sister. There are many houses on this street. A few nights back, I couldn’t sleep. The rest of the house was peacefully asleep in their rooms. I got out of my bed, and sat by my window, watching the moon and stars. I remember thinking how beautiful they were. I also saw a pink fairy, traveling to Fairy Land…….

A few nights back, I couldn’t sleep. The rest of the house was peacefully asleep in their rooms. I got out of my bed, and sat by my window, watching the moon and stars. I remember thinking how beautiful they were. I also saw a pink fairy, traveling to Fairy Land…….

Through my window I can see a big tree and the Safari Villas. I can see many street lights. The people must be sleeping because its late, and I cannot see anybody outside, nor any lights at the windows of their houses. I can hear the sounds of insects…. There is a mosque nearby, and I watch people coming to offer their prayers and leave.

On the other side, I can also see the playground of Dr A.Q.Khan School. Below my window is the garden. My mother has put up chairs and a table for us. My grandparents and parents take their tea, sitting in the garden, and discussing important events of the day.

left side. Just opposite, I can see the Safari villas. But I would like the view from my window to be exactly like the one from Hareem’s window. It offers an amazing view… the whole of Bahria Town spread out before our eyes. I would also like there to be a garden, and would love to have a closed end street, so that there arnt people passing by all the time

Coming back to my own window, I can see the whole of Dr A.Q.Khan School, and my neighbour’s terrace. I wish someone would pick me up, and place me in the clouds so that I could see the whole wide world.

When I look outside my window, I can see many houses and cars. But yesterday I saw a light shining through the window of a vacant flat, and was very excited to see that we might have new neighbors. My window overlooks our garden, which is in full bloom, and presents a colourful picture
