Tree Art Activity

1. Draw a circle in the centre of your page and copy the tree like the picture below.

2. Use your ruler to draw evenly spaced squares as a grid. Draw the lines very lightly with your pencil.

3. Outline your tree with black or brown felt pen.

4. Decorate the trunk and branches of your tree with felt pen designs like in the picture below.

5. Colour the squares in the circle behind your tree branches. Try to choose colours of the same family (eg. all warm colours).

6. Colour the rest of the squares in the background of your picture. Try to choose green family colours for the ground and blue family colours for the sky.
