Goals of Project

1. Track the ecological condition of plants and animals and their response to environmental and climatic change

2. Engage and inform a variety of groups around the Albuquerque area

Potential Questions

• Does the number of birds change once wetlands are established?

• Does phenology of plants and animals change from year to year?

• Are any new species arriving at the refuge?• Do we see similar phenology at the refuge and

other locations in Albuquerque?

• More flagging at bird plots and on cottonwood trees

• If recording data on website, record 10 min stationary count for bird plots
