ABSTRACT
Over a decade customers’ prefer for ease to use and accessibility towards the payment system of
banks. In the present era, technology plays a vital role in satisfying the customers’ need for
payment system by making digitalized as well electronic system. The Internet is utilized in
making payment through online banking, electronic fund transfer combined with mobile apps.
Hence, this study is an attempt to identify the preference and the impact of customer usage on
Digital Payments. The purpose of the study is to identify the preference of modes of digital
payments and problems faced by the customers’ in accessing the digital payments. The sample
size of the study is 42 customers’ from different banks in Vellore City. The statistical tools
applied are Percentage Analysis and One way- ANOVA.
