WHAT IS A SCHULICH LEADER?
A Schulich Leader Nominee represents the top STEM student in your graduating class and in turn becomes eligible to win a $100,000 or $80,000 scholarship. This student exemplifies at least two of the following criteria: academic excellence, leadership and financial need.
A Schulich Leader is a student who has been selected by one of our 20 partner universities to receive $100,000 or $80,000 to pursue an undergraduate degree in STEM. In addition to this large financial award, they join an elite network and receive many ongoing benefits.
Only Schulich Leader Nominees are eligible to become Schulich Leaders.

HOW IT WORKS
Schulich Leader Scholarships are prestigious
entrance scholarships awarded to high school
graduates enrolling in Science, Technology,
Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) programs
at our 20 Canadian partner universities (see
reverse).
Recognizing the

and impact that STEM

Seymour Schulich established this $100 million
scholarship fund in 2012 to encourage our best
and brightest students to be the next pioneers of
global scientific research and innovation.

Select your Schulich Leader Nominee
All high schools and Cégeps across Canada are eligible
Display promotional materials
Notify staff and graduating students about the program
Access the Nomination form
• Email [email protected] if you are not on our electronic mailing list and we will send you the link
Choose a school staff member to submit the Nomination
Nomination form includes:
• Name and contact information for your school
• Name and contact information for your Nominee
Nominees must possess at least two of three criteria:• Academic Excellence
• Leadership (community, business or entrepreneurial)
• Financial Need
To qualify, Nominees must:• Graduate high school or Cégep in the 2016/2017
academic year
• Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
• Enroll at one of our partner universities
APPLICATION REQUIRES:
REVIEW SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS STARTING March 1, 2017
OFFERS WILL BE MADE BETWEEN March 1 and June 15, 2017
Universities where the Nominee wants to attend
List of top three achievements (academic or other)
600 word essay demonstrating why they should win
Two letters of reference* At least one from a school staff member
Copy of an up-to-date transcript or credit counsel summary
Headshot profile image for marketing purposes
Student takes action:
