Carpenter Powder Products, Inc. (CPP) will launch our new SAP platform on Monday, April 9
th, with
Dynamet Incorporated to follow in August.
With the launch of SAP, Carpenter Powder Products, Inc. (CPP), and Dynamet
Incorporated will be the first two Carpenter businesses to bridge strategy and
processes to improve business relationships. Beginning Monday, April 9 for CPP,
and in August 2018 for Dynamet, our business partners will immediately experience:
Faster response to inquiries
Enhance product quality
More reliable scheduling
Better overall experience
Other Carpenter businesses will follow the Dynamet implementation.
These improvements will change the way we work with suppliers. Some of the changes include new supplier numbers, forms, documents, and processes. As part of our commitment to facilitating a smooth transition, this guide has been developed as a means of sharing important updates about our system upgrade. Please share this guide with the people in your organization who are responsible for purchasing/procurement, accounts payable, or other similar functions.

Here’s a preview of our purchase order and some of the new information it will include.
Many of our documents will have a new look.
TO FIND YOUR NEW SAP NUMBER
Beginning April 9th, CPP
vendors are required to update invoices to include the new SAP vendor number. The new vendor number will appear on your Purchase Orders (letter C above).
The same process will begin in August for Dynamet vendors.
Our purchase orders and other documents will contain new information.
Request for quotation (RFQ), contract, schedule agreement, schedule agreement release, RFQ rejection, and vendor evaluation forms will take on a new look.
Please take time to review and share this information within your organization.

Here are three ways you can help us with this transition.
Email address. Please send your email address to
BTE-SAP-Project-Feedback @cartech.com so we can
update our records.
New invoice process. Beginning April 9th for U.S.
CPP suppliers, please start using our centralized email
(preferred) or postal address for your invoices. Also,
please make sure your invoices include your new SAP
vendor number, as shown on your purchase order.
Bank master for e-pay. We need an updated bank
master form to pay you electronically. If you have not
submitted a form to us, please download it from
www.cartech.com/suppliers and submit it as soon as
possible to [email protected].
