AUCTION RULES1. Each guest will be given a bid number. This number is your only means of iden-

tification during both the silent and live auctions. Please retain this bid number throughout the evening.

2. A signature or verbal bid during the Live and Silent Auctions constitutes a legal contract to buy. All sales are final, and there will be no exchanges or refunds unless specified by the donor. In all cases of dispute, the decision of the Auction committee is final.

3. The Auction committee has attempted to clearly catalog and describe the items presented at the Auction; however, all items are sold in an “as is” condition.

4. Values set on Auction items are estimates only and are not guaranteed by the Committee for tax purposes or general value.

5. Please pay attention to all conditions, restrictions and expiration dates on items and services. Except where otherwise noted by the donor, services, tickets, certif-icate items, etc. must be used within one year of the Auction and must be sched-uled at a time that is mutually agreeable to both the donor and winning bidder.

6. Please pick-up items that you won at the end of the silent auction and proceed to Check Out area for payment. The hotel may have shipping services available.

7. Table guards must approve when items can be removed by winning bidders.8. Payment by the winning bidders may be made at any time throughout the evening.

Payments must be made in full on the date of the auction for all items purchased. Payment may be made by cash, check, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover Card. Please make checks payable to the International Festivals & Events Association or simply “IFEA.”

SILENT AUCTION INSTRUCTIONS9. Please write your bid number on the sheet associated with each item. If an entry is

not legible, the next legible entry will be used.10. The amount listed on the top line of each bid sheet is the minimum bid for that item.

Items can be bid up from that exact amount by the increments noted on each bid sheet. A bidder must bid by the proper increment in order to win the item.

11. The first bidder listing their bid number in the Guaranteed Purchase Box owns that item and no additional bids can be accepted.

50/50 RAFFLEJust moments before the Live auction begins, one lucky raffle winner will score half of the raffle collection, with the other half benefiting the IFEA Foundation.

Purchase your chance to win from any of our volunteers selling tickets during the silent auction! Raffle tickets sell for $5 per ticket or $20 for your arm’s length.
