A Special Pull Out Section of Accessing Access
Access Celebrates Excellent ServiceA C E Sccess elebrates xcellent ervice Drs. Pariksith Singh and Maria Scunziano-Singh hosted the 5th Annual ACES (Access Celebrates Excellent Service) event, a wonderful awards banquet to show their sincere appreciation for the entire Access team.
The East Coast event was held December 5, 2015 at Creative Catering in Port St. Lucie. The West Coast event was held December 19, 2015 at Silverthorn Country Club in Spring Hill. As everyone enjoyed mingling, partaking of succulent hors d'oeuvres, and browsing the tables of prizes to be raffled, music played to a slideshow of team member photos taken at the prior year's banquet and throughout the year. As dinner was being served, Dr. Singh gave an inspiring presentation covering the growth and changes we've experienced, the many things we accomplished in 2015 and the vision of Access in the coming years. Dr. Scunziano-Singh presented loving tributes to our departed team members, Nora Auth and Jen Myers, expressed praise, appreciation and gratitude to all for making 2015 a memorable and successful year, and informed us of the wonderful happenings at Auro Community Garden. ACES winners and finalists in sixteen categories were announced , a power point of winners and finalists was presented, and awards were handed out. At the end of the evening, raffle tickets were drawn and lucky winners walked away with prizes, including merchandise and services provided by generous local merchants (car detailing, shoe sales/repairs, hair and nail salons, massages, round of golf for 4, spirits, workout classes, cell phone accessories, gift baskets, and Stage West passes). Some of the other wonderful prizes included gift cards to Cheesecake Factory, Bonefish Grill, Chili's, Nike, Home Depot, Bath & Body Works, Old Navy and iTunes, digital photo frames, a large plush giraffe, Fossil Watches, Mirabela White Sapphire Earrings, $50 and $100 Amex Gift Cards, FitBit Activity Trackers, Canon PowerShot Digital Camera, Panasonic Streaming Wi-Fi Blue-Ray Player, Samsung Galaxy Tablets and a Diamondback 10 speed bicycle.
This event definitely gets better and better each and every year! Everyone had a wonderful time and we are pleased for this opportunity to share some pictures and highlights of these events with our patients, families, friends and community.
Congratulations to Irene Nystrom for walking away with this year's grand prize, a 46” Samsung Smart TV!
Shelby and Ryan each received a $50 dollar gift card.
Special thanks to the following local merchants for their generous prizes donated: Addome Bella Salon, Beef O'Brady's, Chez Colette Hair Design, Coach's Barber Shop, Dashing Hair Design, Ed's Shoe Comfort, Fantasy Hair by Donna, Hair Affair, Halo Auto Sports, Hernando Oaks Golf Club, Hernando West Liquors, iDroid, Imperial Detail, Ivy Nail and Spa, Leaf Aveda Salon Spa, Jazzercise, Karma Spirits and Café, Marker 48 Brewery, Meineke, Padula's Pizza, Pizazz Hair Salon, Sonic, and Stage West. A Message To Access Employees A Message To Access Employees
Greetings to all and best wishes for a peaceful holiday.Thank you for sharing this experience.
One of the most remarkable human beings in history, a man named Sir Winston Churchill, once said: “Success is not final, failure is not fatal; it is the courage to continue that counts.” Such words are powerful and so meaningful when we talk about such virtues as motivation, perseverance and the will to achieve. You may not have it easy and you may fall or fail when you strive to make good things happen. It is only when you rise above this and continue despite the difficulties, that you see a meaning and a value that moves you to want to go further and make something even better. Those who go the extra mile, take the time to bring out the best in others or get the job done right are those who make a difference. This is what we want to acknowledge and honor at this time.
It takes work with drive and dedication, passion and perseverance to make something successful. Those who know this execute it without hesitation and without grief. However the difficulty factor or the challenge, the best outcome is the goal and the seeker of this is the one who works for the benefit of humanity. Selflessness is part of this equation and it is a beautiful one indeed. This is excellence and we appreciate and honor it.
All of you are partaking in a process that has been evolving and continues to in an age where science, technology and the human
condition are all interconnecting at speeds never seen before. Every moment counts and the motions and decisions you make in the moment can change the course of everything. Making the best decision may not always happen but that does not stop the will and spirit of the person who seeks to attain the best for whatever the need. Eventually and perhaps even quickly, the best can happen for the benefit of one or perhaps all. We cannot expect to be successful every moment, every hour or however long but we can strive to do what makes sense and reduces the agony and pain of what exists or what lies ahead.
We honor you all and special recognition is being made to those who have been voted by their peers and/or supervisors - our ACES, as we have traditionally done, for the difference they make in this company.
May you all enjoy the moment and share in the celebration of excellence!
With utmost gratitude,Maria Scunziano-Singh, MD

The winners of the ACES awards are nominated by fellow team members. There are several categories and winners are chosen based on the information provided as to why an employee feels someone deserves such award rather than number of votes for a particular individual. Every person who received at least one nomination was listed on a large board put on display at the banquet. The actual winners were individually called up to receive their awards while Dr. Benson and Juan Triana, Masters of Ceremony read aloud some of the wonderful comments written about the winners’ hard work, spirit, teamwork, leadership, likeability, and dedication. Not only did they receive recognition and a trophy, they also each received 8 HOURS OF PAID TIME OFF!!
