Areasonablestartingpointwhencontemplatingyourdailyscheduleisaskingyourselfwhatcreatescalmforyouandwhatcreatesmoretension.Youdonotwanttobuildyourdailyrhythmaroundexpectationsthatmakeyoufeelstressedbutratherstartwithwhatmakesyoubeyourbest.Yourchildrenwillfeelthisandreactpositivelytoyourcalmandjoyfulapproach.
Inourearlychildhoodclassrooms,weliveourdailylivesflowingthroughourdays.Wemostlydonotneedawatchtotellus“whattimeitis.”Weintuitwhenitistherighttimetocleanupafterfreeplay,toendourartisticgroupactivities,torestandtositdownforsnack.Andtonosurprise,youcansetyourwatchafterus.Ifyoustartwithasimpledailyrhythmyouwillsoonreachthispointofflow.Thisisveryrewarding.

Wakeupandgetdressed.Makethebeds(yourchildrencanlearntodothatindependently;itdoesnotneedtobeperfect).Makebreakfast(considerarhythmicalmenu)andcleanthedishestogether.

Gooutsideeverymorningandexploreyourneighborhood(keeplocalregulationsandsocialdistancinginmind).Payattentiontoseasonalchangesandfindlittletreasuresforyourfamilynaturecorner.Ifpossible,haveyourchildrenplaywithnaturalelementsbythemselveswhileyoucansitclose.
Snack
Tryasnackrhythmoreatthesamesnackeveryday.
Artisticordomesticactivity
Tryaweeklyscheduleofadifferentartisticactivityoneachdayoftheweek.Haveasewingbasketwithmaterialsyourchildrenfreelycanuse.Considerlittleprojectsthattakemanydaystocomplete.
Lunch
Prepareandsetthelunchtabletogether.Mealtimesarewonderfulforconversationsandlittlewordgames.
Restorquiettime
