The Flavour, Colour, Time of Ripening, Size and Gcod^nefs of Fruits, vary a great deal, according to the Soil andScituation, and as the Scajbn proves either cold or hot, wet ordry.Fruits of a good Kind, planted in a proper Soil, and to-

wards the right Afpedl, will ulhally anfwer the Charader theybear: But by an ill Soil, too much Shade, or a wrong Ex-pofure, they will loie their fine Taile and Colour, and be goodfor little.

It has been obferved that fuch Fruits, as grow on D-xiv??;/}or Efpaliers, are better tafted, and will keep longer than tholeagainil Walls; but are not fo large and beautiful.

All Fruits ihould be gathered prudently, and eat feafo-nably.
