A MERICAN S OCIETY OF H EATING , R EFRIGERATING , AND A IR -C ONDITIONING E NGINEERS (ASHRAE) Austin ASHRAE, Hockey Month ! We have a special treat this month of having our monthly meeting at the Cedar Park Event Center. We will view their refrigeration plant to see how they keep the ice cold, yet don’t freeze the spectators. Then we’ll enjoy the game together in a reserved section. I am bringing my wife. Please feel free to bring your family members to this fun event. We’ve negotiated a great price. Our membership committee has been putting in a lot of work, and we’re really starting to see the fruits of this effort with a significant increase of 9 new members this month, and 6 new members last month. But we still need your help! Will you please check with your colleagues to see who is not a member yet (or currently renewed). Your company very likely reimburses for membership in a professional society. I sincerely appreciate all of you volunteering your time away from your normal whirlwind to help with this. Next month, we will be changing venue to meet at the Highball, just south of Downtown. This will be a fun experience, and should result in attendance for many people closer to downtown. Looking forward to seeing every- one on Friday, Feb 27th for our Refrigeration/Hockey event. Austin ASHRAE,

    Hockey Month!

We have a special treat this month

of having our monthly meeting at

the Cedar Park Event Center. We

will view their refrigeration plant to

see how they keep the ice cold, yet

    don’t freeze the spectators. Then

we’ll enjoy the game together in a

reserved section. I am bringing my

wife. Please feel free to bring your

family members to this fun event.

    We’ve negotiated a great price.

    Our membership committee has

been putting in a lot of work, and

we’re really starting to see the fruits

of this effort with a significant

increase of 9 new members this

month, and 6 new members last

month. But we still need your help!

Will you please check with your

colleagues to see who is not a

    member yet (or currently renewed).

    Your company very likely reimburses

    for membership in a professional

society. I sincerely appreciate all of

    you volunteering your time away

from your normal whirlwind to help

    with this.

Next month, we will be changing

venue to meet at the Highball, just
