Watch My Domains SED is a single point interface and aprogrammable platform to monitor and manage all yourdomain name related assets.

You can use it to monitor domain expiry dates, domain namerecords including name servers, domain contact details ifavailable, DNS records like MX, SPF, DMARC, DKIM, SSLcertificate expiry dates, SSL SAN records, IP ASN and anynumber of custom data you wish to attach to each domainname.

Easy Installation & Setup

Installing Watch My Domains SED is easy and can be done ina few minutes. It is as simple as downloading a ZIP file,unzipping it into a web visible folder and editing aconfiguration file.

There is also a fully automated Bash script that will install iton a fresh DigitalOcean droplet.

The audit trail allows you to keep track of who logged in, whomade changes and so on. All transactions like adding orimporting domains, deleting domains, downloading data aretracked and logged.

Administrative users can view the audit log from the Settingspane of the Administrative module. The audit log can beviewed from the console too using the command line tool.

Watch My Domains SED has built-in support for importingdata from registrars and other third party providers likeGoDaddy, NameCheap, Dynadot, Internet.BS, NameSilo,ResellerClub and DNSMadeEasy.

You can use the Application Programming Interface (API) tointegrate data from the domain database into your ownwebsite. You can also use it to integrate data from thirdparty resources.

You can also configure the application to use specific nameservers to do DNS lookup. It is even possible to assigndifferent “DNS lookup name servers” for each of yourdomains. This is very useful if you have different DNSsettings within your intranet.

Another feature is the ability to check your IP addressesagainst various black lists.

You can categorize your domain names intoeasily manageable groups. The domaincategory bar displays all the domaincategories in a neat tree view. You can add,remove and rename the categories. Domainscan be moved from one category to anothervery easily. You can also automatically assignthe domains to a specific category when theyare being added to the portfolio.

A separate, user configurable auto sorted category list allows you to quickly find domainsthat satisfy certain conditions. For example, you can quickly find domains that are pastexpiry date, domains that were newly registered, domains that were last checked more than180 days ago, and so on.

Watch My Domains SED features a number ofdisplay groups that allow you to view thewhole domain related data easily and quickly.For example, the "Important Dates" grouplists the various expiry, created and lastupdated dates, the "Network Related Data"displays the name server records, IP addressetc.

You can manually edit most of the datacolumns in Watch My Domains SED. This isuseful when some of the data is not availableautomatically from domain Whois / RDAP orotherwise.

Data can also be imported from a CSV file.

You can can also manually enter the samedata into a column for multiple domains. Thisis done by selecting a group of domains andthen invoking the bulk-edit option.

Custom Queries can be used to locatedomains that satisfy certain criteria and thenyou can use the bulk-edit option to set datainto a specific column for all those domains.For example, you can use this option to set aspecific column value for all domains thatexpire within 6 months or domains that use aspecific name server.

Whois / RDAP & Registrar API

Support

You may also use Registration Data AccessProtocol (RDAP) queries instead of Whois forregistries that support it. The application willautomatically find the right RDAP query URLfor supported TLDs.

Watch My Domains supports importing datadirectly from your registrar. This requires yourregistrar having an API support. Currentlyregistrars like GoDaddy, Namecheap,NameSilo, ResellerClub, Dynadot, etc. aresupported.

Watch My Domains SED can perform anautomatic Whois configuration when you adda domain with a TLD that has not yet beensetup. You don't need to do manualconfigurations or wait for a software update.With so many new TLDs becoming available,manually configuring each TLD is not a viableoption. This feature makes managingdomains really easy.

A seperate RESTFul API is available for Professional Editionfor use from your own applications developed in anylanguage. 

Updating Records at Registrar / DNS

Providers

It is possible to use Watch My Domains SED to automatically renew domains and update DNSrecords at your Registrar or service provider. Your registrar or service provider should have afunctioning and documented API for this to work. Many popular providers like GoDaddy,ResellerClub, NameCheap, NameSilo, Dynadot, DNSMadeEasy alreadyprovide APIs and aresupported.

For obvious security reasons this option is not enabled or provided by default. This can beenabled based on discussions and request after purchase.
