God and the Multiverse:

A response to Stephen HawkingDoes a multiverse explain the fine-tuning of our ownuniverse? In the light of modern physics does it stillmake sense to speak of God as Creator?

Dr Holder did his first degree in mathematics atCambridge, and followed this with a DPhil inastrophysics in Oxford. He remained at Oxford for afurther two years as a post-doctoral fellow in theDepartment of Astrophysics, before working for 14years at the UK Ministry of Defence as an operationalresearch consultant. He returned to Oxford in 1996taking a first class degree in theology. Rodney iscurrently Course Director of the Faraday Institute.

Rodney Holder will discuss the assertions made byStephen Hawking's in his book 'The Grand Design'.
