The bishops of the GBEC, with the assistance of seminary representatives, draft a set of academic standards for presentation to the HOB spring 2011 meeting.

The HOB pass a mind-of-the-house resolution supporting these standards at its fall 2011 meeting.

Ordination Examination that will be administered at seminaries and diocesan locations, and prepare background material for use by the dioceses.

• Authorize the evaluation of the GOE by diocesan (or regional) examining chaplains.
