A textile company fully depends on its merchandisingdepartment. A good merchandising system or process can easilyimprove the quality of a product that very much choice able to thebuyer.After analyze and investigate the merchandising system FourKnitWearLtd,Iwasfinallypreparedthisreport.Idevotedmyutmosteffort and attention to learn the merchandising system of thecompany.

    I have rendered my all knowledge to present this report on theMerchandising System Of Four Knit Wear Limited. In this study,it is shown that how this company conducts their presentmerchandising system and whether there are any problems in themerchandising system of this company. Located atPathantoli, Godgonail, Narayangonj, for the selected research subject and me ismerchandisingsystemofFourKnitWearLimitedCompany.SoIampayingspecialattentiononmerchandisingsystemofthecompany.InBangladesh,thefutureofgarmentsindustriesisbrighterintheeraofglobalization.UltramoderntechnologyarebeingusedinthewovenandknitgarmentindustriesintheoutsideworldotherthanBangladesh.Tosurviveinthefreemarketoftheworld,wehavetouseworldstandardlatesttechnologyinourreadymadegarmentsector.ThereportwillmainlyfocusonthemerchandisingsystemofFourKnitWearLimited,Narayangonj.The study will cover the practice, procedures and technique followed by themerchandiser in the preparation of order to shipment in Four Knit Wear Limited.Bangladeshisadevelopingcountry.Thedevelopmentandprogressofthecountrylargelydepend on export performance. In case of Bangladesh, among the export sector, theready-madegarmentsarethemainearningsourceofforeigncurrency.Inthegarmentandtextileindustry,merchandisershavebeenplayingavitalrolefortheexecutionofexportorders. The topic Merchandising of Four Knitwear Ltd. gave me anopportunity to have an exposure to the working environment and on thejobexperienceinmerchandisingofFourknitwearLtd.InBangladeshwespeciallymeansby Merchandising the merchandising of garments. A merchandiser is the mostimportantpersoninagarment.Allworksingarmentsfactoryunderthedirectionofamerchandiser.Somerchandisingisachallengingprofessioninagarmentsfactoryorarea.Ifamerchandisercansshipmenttheproductproperly,thebuyerwillbepleasedonhimandwillgetmoreorderfromthem.SodevelopmentofthemerchandisingprofessionwilldevelopthetextileareaofBangladesh.So,Iselectedthisstudy.

    The main objectives of this study are scrutinize the merchandising system of FourknitwearLtd.Academicknowledgeisnotperfect,practicalknowledgeisessentialwithit.Theobjectivesofthestudyaretogatherknowledgethroughpracticalwork.Itwillfulfilltheexperiencethroughtheoreticalaswellaspractically.SoitisessentialtorapiddevelopmentofmerchandisingofacompanyespeciallyinTextileCompany.Textileis

    1.5SCOPEOFTHESTUDY:There aresomanytextile industriesinBangladesh.Four knitWearlimitedis oneofthem.Itisasmalltextileindustrycomparethanothers.Thereareonlythreemerchandiserworks. Above 230 labors and 40 staffs works. There is no dyeing and printing andembroideringmachine.Thestudydoesnotcoverdyeing,printingandembroideringarea.

    1.6REVIEWOFRELATEDLITERATURE:IamthefirstpersonwhohasdoneinternshiponmerchandisingsystemofFourKnitWearLtd.Butsomeotherpersonswhohavedoneinternshiponmerchandisingsystemofothercompanythataregivenbelow:Sheikh Md. Rasel (2005) in the study conducted on ELEGANT TEAMDEVELOPMENT LIMITED tried show that how this buying house conducted theirpresent merchandising system and what steps have to take for the development ofmerchandising system of this company. Sheikh Rasel study covers only marketingmerchandising.Mystudyonlycoversproduction-merchandisingsystemofthecompany.BecausemarketingmerchandisingiscoveredbytheM.D.andbuyinghouse.
