Who:    New  YCBA  members,  defined  as  those  admitted  to  the  PA  Supreme  Court  on  or  after  4/1/2016,  and  Young  Lawyers  Section  members,  defined  as  those  attorneys  who  have  not  yet  attained  the  age  of  thirty-­‐six  (36)  years  of  age  or  not  admitted  to  the  practice  of  law  for  more  than  five  (5)  years.  

What:    Join  us  for  Lunch  –  an  opportunity  for  the  new  members  and  Young  Lawyers  to  mingle,  get  to  

know  each  other  and  meet  with  the  bench,  as  well  as  some  more  experienced  attorneys,  in  a  more  intimate  and  relaxed  setting  –  and  Learning  –  featuring  a  full  panel  of  our  local  judges  and  practicing  attorneys  who  will  offer  tips,  advice  and  comments  about  local  practices  including  Criminal  Law,  Civil  

Law,  Family  Court  and  Orphans’  Court,  and  provide  an  opportunity  to  ask  questions.    Lunch  and  1.5  credit  hours  of  CLE  will  be  provided  with  full  attendance.  

Why:  This  is  a  great  opportunity  for  the  newer  and  younger  members  of  the  YCBA  to  get  to  know  each  other  and  members  of  the  YCBA  and  learn  directly  from  the  judges  before  whom  they  will  be  appearing  

in  court  while  practicing  law  in  York  County.

US SUPREME COURT BUS TRIP APRIL 25, 2017

Attention Members:

The YCBA is hosting a bus trip to Washington, D.C. on April 25th for a group of members who are being sworn in before the U.S. Supreme Court (Note: the ceremony is full). There are a limited number of seats on the bus for members and guests who might wish to have a “Day in D.C.” on your own.
