Weekly Reflection What would you experience if

God were to fully dwell in the

depths of your soul? Peace, joy

and amazement! And from these

gifts, and from the indwelling of

the Trinity, you would have

courage in the face of hardship,

strength to cast out fear and an

impenetrable defense against the

evil one, against his lies and his

snares. You will not be free from

temptation and suffering, but you

will overcome them since God

alone dwells within you, and He

will be your protection and joy

(Diary of Sister Faustina #480).

Has the Most Holy Trinity taken possession of your soul? If

so, there will be no room for sin or fear. You will see the

fruits of this indwelling in your daily life and you will be at

peace. If you do not see God at work in your life in this way,

invite Him to enter. This is not a onetime invitation; rather,

it must become your daily habit and sincere desire. Do not

tire of inviting God to dwell within you.

Lord, Your presence in my life is the greatest Mercy I could ever receive. There is nothing greater than You living in me. I thank You that You desire to be one with me and to take possession of my life. I give myself to You freely and without reserve, for You are my God and my all. Jesus, I trust in You. ~ Daily Reflections on Divine Mercy

Brebeuf High School News

Placement Test Workshops

Brebeuf Jesuit invites all current

7th grade students to attend one of our

upcoming High School Placement Test

(HSPT) Preparation Workshops this sum-

mer, 8AM-12 PM June 10-14 or June 17- 21.

Attendees will work on test-taking strategies and review the

five sections on the HSPT.

The HSPT can be daunting to middle school students and a

stressful part of the application process to an independent

school. Let us take away some of the intimidation by prepar-

ing your child to do his or her best work on this important

exam.

All students who register for either of the HSPT workshops

will automatically be registered for the official HSPT and

take the test the last day of the week-long workshop.

Catholic School Considerations

Zionsville Community Schools are a valuable part of our

area, but some parents prefer a Catholic education for their

child. Please see below for schools with current availability.

Saint Malachy Catholic School in Brownsburg (11 miles

away) and Saint Monica Catholic School on Michigan

Road (10 miles away) both offer Catholic, non-parishioner

tuition rates.

In addition, Lumen Christi Catholic School in downtown

Indy (24 miles away) has competitive tuition rates.

Scam Texts & Emails

Be aware of scam emails and texts that

appear to be from parochial staff or even

from your friends, and have a request for

cash, gift cards, etc. If you receive such

a request and you believe it to be

authentic, pick up the phone and call to verify.

• Don’t text back. Legitimate companies won’t ask you to

verify your identity through unsecured channels, like text

or email.

• Don’t click on any links within the message. Links can

install malware on your device and take you to spoof

sites to try to get your information.

• Report the message to your cell phone carrier’s spam text

reporting number. If you’re an AT&T, T-Mobile,

Verizon, Sprint, or Bell customer, you can forward the

text to 7726 (SPAM) free of charge.

The best advice might be to forward any suspicious emails or

texts to the FTC via [email protected]. The FTC recommends

that you also cc: the organization impersonated in the email/

message - a step that might give the scammer some pause

before going ahead with their scheme.
