The Data: 4 years of data from program inception to current day of 8 County EMS departments as part of a state risk and loss pool. These departments represent the HIGHEST injury rate departments in the state pool. Training changes behavior, training reduces loss; policies keep the departments on track!
By following just the basic principles in the Fit Responder Program EMS departments have seen a 37% Decrease in OSHA recordable lost work days! Plus those same departments have also seen an average of 60% less workers compensation claim expense due to the reduction in severity of injury!
**We now have 6 departments that have seen over $140.000 reduced workers compensation claim rate and severity for the 3 years they have followed our methodologies.
