AT CERSAIE 2014 ATLAS CONCORDE PRESENTS “TRAVELLING HUB”, A CONCEPT AREA BASED ON AN INNOVATIVE AND DYNAMIC CONCEPT OF METROPOLITAN WELCOMING, SPACES THAT RE-DESIGN THE HOSPITALITY SECTOR, INTERPRETING THE NEEDS OF CONTEMPORARY TRAVELLERS.

Contemporary hospitality venues according to Atlas Concorde: City hotel, Apartment hotel and Oasis hotel.

The shared spaces of the hotellerie system are gradually changing into service hubs, creating a unique experiential pool to organise business meetings while, at the same time, experiencing moments of relaxation and pure well-being. These new welcoming areas are at the core of the “travelling hub” concept designed for Atlas Concorde at Cersaie 2014, a space that this year has been broadened and totally renewed, a hybrid venue able to combine business and relaxation, to optimise time and energy during a business trip and, at the same time, enjoying a first-rate experience in a modern metropolitan setting.

The facade at the entrance and the external perimeter of the display area are characterised by elegant windows showcasing Atlas Concorde new collections and guiding visitors along a shopping experience through venues that embrace business as well as contemporary hospitality.

The stand, designed by MPA Mattia Parmiggiani Architects studio and furnished in partnership with leading design brands, opens over a modern square – Gallery hub - in which three different concept spaces meet, a space created to meet the needs of a varied and demanding customer base: the City hotel, the Apartment hotel and the Oasis hotel.

The protagonist of the space is Marvel PRO, the new collection of gres porcelain floors and coordinated white-body wall tiles, inspired by precious marble with an intense character that broadens the creative potential of the Marvel series thanks to an extraordinary richness of sizes, surface finishes and products in line with the latest market trends. The gallery hub, at the core of the stand, is covered with Marvel PRO in the extra glossy honed finish, characterised by a mirror-like surface that faithfully reproduces the brilliance of polished marble and the light irregular veining of the natural material.

The City hotel, a full-optional area dedicated to 24/7 “business wellness” has floors and walls in the Travertino Silver colour while the pearled shade Statuario Select is used in the bathroom. The Apartment hotel, a space that is almost a halfway point between a home and a hotel, conceived for those who desire the comfort typical of home while travelling on business, is characterised by the bright and warm Cremo Delicato shade in alternation with the dark and intense Noir St. Laurent hue, highlighting the creative potential of the elegant colour palette of the collection.

The project takes on further evocative power with the Arty&Bord series used in the third location, as Oasis hotel that offers a relaxing experience in a SPA characterised by a reinvigorating mood. The use of decorative surfaces perfectly integrated, such as Arty, wall tiles with a soft touch and a natural plaster look and Bord, shade on shade wood look floors, is the perfect solution for business and wellness areas merging North-European mood and Italian design. This space leads to an area dedicated to outdoor application and exalting the potential of the new offer by LASTRA 20mm: the naturalness of Axi wood effect gres porcelain and Marvel PRO marble effect porcelain merge with the excellent technical performance of ceramics for an anti-slip solution, easy to install and resistant to thermal shock, fire and frost.
