ACCOMMODATION
Traditional Andalucian farmhouse with six holiday apartments set around a
charming courtyard. Excellent events venue with accommodation for couples,
families and groups of up to 26.
Set around a beautiful sunny patio, our three keys-rated accommodation is
designed to give guests a sense of privacy and independence.
Each apartment has its own lounge, kitchen and dining area. Kitchens
are fully equipped with fridge, hob, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, sauce-
pans etc, and lounges have TVs and a real log fire for cosy winter evenings.
All have heating and air-conditioning. All bed linen and bathroom towels are
provided, and free wifi is available throughout.
Superior Apartment
Superior one-bedroom apartment perfect for couples enjoying a romantic
getaway. Bathroom with jacuzzi bath. Sleeps 2 + 1 optional extra bed.
Two Bedroom Apartment (2 bathrooms) max 5 persons

Two Bedroom Apartment - disabled access
Ground floor accessible apartment, with kitchen and bathroom adapted
for disabled guests. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. Sleeps 4.
Whole Cortijo (Farmhouse)
Total of 6 apartments, up to 26 guests. The accommodation includes a total of
11 bedrooms – eight twins and three doubles, plus additional beds available in
four of the apartments.
Groups renting the whole cortijo get exclusive use of the property, including
swimming pool and dining room.

Cortijo La Presa is the perfect destination for a wedding, special birthday, anniversary
or any other celebration in a spectacular mountain setting.
The flexible accommodation means the property is ideal for all kinds of events and
group holidays, whether it’s a gathering of friends and family or a corporate team-
building experience.
We offer a range of catering options, working with experienced professionals to en-
sure your event is everything you want it to be. Please contact us for further infor-
mation or to discuss your requirements and options.

Local Experiences—Cortijo La Presa is located in the Subbeticas Parque Natu-ral. Trails lead directly from within the Cortijo and offer everything from a gentle stroll
along the river to a thrilling high-speed mountain bike descent. Enjoy watersports at
nearby Lake Iznájar. Triathletes—do your training here!
CORTIJO AND SURROUNDINGS
So much to see and do - close to mountains, beach, history and culture.
Set among its own extensive olive groves, Cortijo La Presa is near the foot of the highest mountain in
Córdoba province, La Tiñosa, where the only sounds usually heard are the chirping of the birds and the
bleating of the goats.
We have a seasonal outdoor pool, sun terrace, guest barbecues and a children's play area. Our rustic
apartments feature original tiled floors and wooden ceiling beams.
Free parking is available on site.
Staff at Cortijo La Presa can provide information about the area, local attractions and organise hiking
and bike trails.
Nearby - Less than 30 minutes away
Cortijo La Presa enjoys a privileged and peaceful location in the Sierras Subbeticas Natural Park, yet still
conveniently close to the towns of Iznajar, Priego de Cordoba and Rute, and just a couple of kms from
the village of Las Lagunillas. The area is home to a huge variety of birds including eagles and vultures,
and nature lovers can enjoy the wildlife and majestic mountains without even leaving the property.
A fifteen-minute drive will take you to Iznajar, where the town’s ancient Arab castle overlooks the
largest lake in Andalucía. The sandy beach beside the lake is a wonderful place to spend a summer’s
day.
Less than 90 minutes away
Cortijo La Presa is located at the very heart of Andalucía, making it the perfect base for a touring holi-
day. The historic cities of Granada, Cordoba, Malaga and Jaen are all within easy reach, as are many of
the famous Andalucian “white villages”.
The possibilities for day trips are endless, but the best include Granada and the Alham-
bra, Cordoba and the Mezquita and Malaga for its Picasso heritage, historic centre, shopping and the
coast.
