A Message From the President This is my favorite time of year. The colors, the cooler temperatures, the Fests, the travel. Such amazing op-portunities we are given here! Even if you aren’t a traveler, just the visual aspect of Germany in the fall is so wonderful. Get out there and enjoy it!
There is so much coming your way from SCSC it’s hard to figure out where to start! First, we have BUNCO!!!! I am a definite “loser” when it comes to Bunco. If just never happens for me. But I still love playing it. Our October event will feature Bunco is always sells out! Be sure to get your reservations in early for this one. We will have amazing prizes, raffles, and a fully reloaded Ways and Means area. This event will be at the Swabian. We will also have Fest Tables for sale. So bring your checkbook and get a piece of Stuttgart to cher-ish for years.
We had our first Bizarre Road Trip in September – what a blast. I had so much fun and heard from others that they did as well. Coming in October, we have a Trips and Tours to Würzburg. A day trip with fun, adven-ture, friends, and food. Also wine….can’t forget the wine! Be sure to look for this sign up the first week of October as well. This one will also sell out so be quick!
Halloween costumes will be on display at the Thrift Shop starting October 10. It’s always a bit of a frenzy on this day – great deals for all. If you are able to come volunteer this day, please do – we will need your help.
Be sure to save the date for THRIFTMAS. This amazing holiday event that we save donations for ALL YEAR will be on Thursday, Nov 29 – Saturday, Dec 1. We will have a sign up list for volunteers at this event coming in November.
If you are new to the community, or have been around for a while, it’s a great year to get involved. We have numerous volunteer opportunities from low-maintenance to in-depth. We have great activities that you can attend as well. So don’t miss out. If you are interested and don’t know where to start, fell free to email me directly at [email protected] and I will help you out personally.
If you are a member and haven’t yet joined the Closed SCSC Facebook page, search for: Stuttgart Communi-ty Spouses' Club (SCSC). Notice the parenthesis around the SCSC. We have two pages, the one without pa-renthesis is open to all, the one with parenthesis is only for members. Join us there for posts and infor-mation you won’t see elsewhere!
Looking forward to seeing you at Bunco or another one of our many events throughout October!

Membership News
Welcome New and Returning Members of the SCSC!
Do you know of someone who is new to the area and is looking to make new
friends while having some fun, all the while supporting the American
community? Then, please have them join the SCSC!
It only takes a few minutes of their time to complete the online membership
application! The best part of joining the SCSC, is that we do so much for the
community! Just last year we gave out $334,018.04 in the form of welfare
grants and scholarships! Of course, we couldn’t have done this without the
continuous support of our awesome SCSC members!
The link to join is:
https://stuttgartspousesclub.org/join-us
In addition, if you or another member of the SCSC are not receiving
emails yet from Membership,
Reservations, Special Interest Coordinators and/or the Newsletter, then
please contact Membership at [email protected] immediately!
We want everyone to be informed of the up coming events and since eve-
ryone is not on Facebook, a correct email address is a vital part of the
information conduit!
In closing, thank you again for supporting the SCSC! We look
forward to a fun-filled year with each of you!
