A Message From Our PresidentA Message From Our PresidentI have some very exciting news to share withyou! I am proud to announce that the CoralSprings Regional Chamber of CommerceBoard of Directors and the Coconut CreekChamber of Commerce Board of Directorshave come to an agreement to integrate theCoconut Creek Chamber with the CoralSprings Regional Chamber!
What does this mean for our members and themembers of Coconut Creek Chamber?Members of both organizations will now begetting two Chamber memberships for the
price of one -with even more member benefits!! There will be additionalopportunities to grow and develop your network of business professionals,as well as additional events that both organizations will be able toparticipate in. In addition, the integration expands the reach of bothorganizations by giving all of us a greater influence as the "voice ofbusiness in the Northwest Broward area".
The Coconut Creek Chamber will be known as the Coconut CreekChamber Council. The Council will have its own Board of Governors aswell as representation on the Coral Springs Regional Chamber's Board ofDirectors. The Coconut Creek Council will continue to have their ownidentity and will provide member-driven programs that are successfuland foster engagement in the Coconut Creek community.
This is an extremely exciting time in our Chamber's history and in thenext sixty days we will be providing you with more information as wemove forward in the process. This month, several marketingprofessionals from both groups will meet to develop a plan for the futurecommunication of the new structure. I will keep you posted and we willsend out emails as the plans progress. Enjoy the rest of your summerand get ready to network!
