L e t t e r f r o m t h e p r e s i d e n tAmes Little League Families and Supporters, Your investments are paying off. Youth baseball is solidly growing in Ames again! This year marked our third straight year of nearly 30% growth in the number of players in our league. This kind of growth and expansion would not be possible without the investment of our families, our coaches, our sponsors, and our board. We made significant strides this year in improving our communication, facilities, and coaching and we’re already laying plans for how to improve and enhance the experience of playing baseball in our league in 2019.

We have a compelling vision for the future of baseball in Ames. We want to see youth from every walk of life have the opportunity to pick up a glove, and have a chance to fall in love with the game of baseball. We want to provide quality instruction and competitive opportunities for youth–-beginning with learning the basics to playing much more competitive baseball. Finally, we recognize that the baseball diamond provides a platform where our youth can learn to be challenged, process success/failure, learn teamwork, and take the next steps in their growth and development as citizens and members of our community.

I invite you to continue with us on this journey and help us build the kind of baseball league that Ames youth and families will love for years to come.

President,

Nathan Haila
