FISHER RIVER PARK WALKING TRAIL GUIDE
Walk for Your Health Walking is one of the easiest ways for you to be physically active. Walking may:
Give you more stamina and
energy and boost your mood.
Tone your muscles and strengthen
your bones.
Lower your risk of health problems such as high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke,
and Type 2 diabetes.
If you walk the paved walking track around the soccer field (black line on map), you will be walking .25 mile per lap. If you walk the blue trail and the yellow trail, you will be walking .51 mile. If you walk the red trail and the yellow trail, you will be walking .57 mile. If you walk the red trail, the yellow trail, and the blue trail, you will be walking .96 mile. If you walk the red trail, the yellow trail, the blue trail, and the green trail, you will be walking 1.12 miles. If you walk the red trail, the blue trail, the green trail, and across the playground parking lot and down past the volleyball court, and through the parking lot and driveways to reconnect with the red trail, you will be walking 1.25 miles. If you walk the red trail, the blue trail, the green trail, and across the playground parking lot and down past the volleyball court, and through the parking lot and driveways to reconnect with the red trail, and then walk one complete lap around the paved walking track, you will have walked 1.5 miles.
