A LADY BUGS ADVENTUREBritney Beck

Once upon a time, there was ladybug. Her name was Lily. She was a Nine-Spotted Ladybug, so she had nine black spots. Her body was red and she had 2 antennae. Lily also had 6 legs, like all insects.

Lily the Ladybug loved to play outside. She liked to sit in the green grass and fly around in the big blue sky. When Lily wants to fly, she opens up her 2 wings and uses her hind legs. Lily can fly up to 100 miles per hour.

One day, Lily decided to take an adventure and fly around the world. She was a curious ladybug and wanted to see other places and other bugs.

So Lily started flying and she flew and flew for a very long time. She went over water and across land and the first place Lily saw was a sign that said France. Lily was so excited! She had never visited France before.

Lily was lonely though and she decided to find some other bugs like her. The first bug Lily saw was a butterfly. The butterfly was bright blue. Lily was happy because the butterfly had 2 wings, 2 antennae and could fly just like her! Lily and the butterfly became friends.

Lily wanted to find another friend too. So Lily said bye to the blue butterfly in France and flew and flew across water and across land.

The second place Lily found was a place called Africa. Lily was excited because she had never been to Africa before!

Here in Africa, Lily found another bug. She met an ant. The ant was very small and black with 6 legs, a body and 2 antennae. The ant also crawls on the ground, he doesnt fly like Lily. This bug wasnt like Lily, but Lily still wanted to be friends.

Lily had to leave Africa after meeting the ant so she could fly home in time for dinner. Her mother would be worried if she wasnt home in time. So Lily said bye to her friend the ant from Africa and flew and flew across water and across land.

Lily made it home in time for dinner and told her mother all about her great adventure. Lilys mother was very happy that Lily got to travel all around the world and meet new friends. Lily the ladybug lived happily ever after.
