On behalf of the owners and management of A Knights Rest Guesthouse, congratulations on your engagement! We know that this is an exceptionally exciting time for you, and we are humbled at the prospect of you considering A Knights Rest to assist you in planning and hosting your dream wedding. Our wedding package caters for up to 80 guests, and offers the options of an indoor or garden wedding, coupled with uniquely themed luxury rooms for your guests. A Knights Rest is truly a home away from home experience, and our dedicated on-site team will be with you every step of the way as you plan your big day!
A Knights Rest Wedding Package
Venue Hire: Lapa - R3 000.00 (weekday) and R3 500.00 (weekend)
Tea Garden – R2 000.00 (weekday) and R2 500.00 (weekend)
The reception venues can be hired until midnight (24h00), with the last round being called at 11:30pm. An additional surcharge of R800.00 will be charged for every hour, or part thereof after midnight, to cover the overheads of the venue, bar and staff costs.
Our wedding package includes:
• Private venue hire • Event coordination during your wedding function • Venue set-up and clear-up • Chairs • Round tables (4 x 6 seaters) • Serviettes • Cutlery and Crockery • Glassware • Registry table • Cake table • DJ table • Buffet table • Easel for table seating plan • Red Carpet • Priest’s Lecturn • Waitron service • Private bar facility • Draping • Complimentary secure parking The rates associated with this package are valid until
the 30th of June 2015
We will co-ordinate your entire day; we can also
arrange - a minister, flowers, designer dress, make-up
and hair stylist professionals, photographer, catering,
musicians, the cake and not forgetting, luxury
accommodation at reduced rates for the parents of the
bride and groom.
Last but not least, A Knights Rest offers the Bride and
Groom a complimentary night in the luxurious Bridal
Suite with a champagne Breakfast before checking-out.
Deposit
The full venue hire is required as a non-refundable deposit in order to confirm the date for your wedding. This deposit needs to be paid within 14 (fourteen) days of booking your venue.
Confetti
A Knights Rest does not allow the use of synthetic or paper confetti. All confetti must be of a natural nature, such as rose petals, leaves or bubbles. The use of streamers is prohibited.
A Knights Rest Facilities A Knights Rest consists of 7 rooms (6 en-suite and 1 non en-suite), catering for 2 people per room, complete with air-conditioning, tea and coffee facilities; rooms are serviced daily. The Guesthouse offers a host of both on and off-site activities from its pool area, tea garden and lapa entertainment area, to O’Hagens Irish pub and grill, Ocean Basket Restaurant and Spur steakhouse located across the road.
