FOREWORD

This bibliography recalls the role played by the military horse for thepast 35 centuries. With the advent of WWII its use diminished as motortransport was perfected. However this does not lessen the role it hasplayed throughout history.

This number is arranged in two parts. Part One lists periodicals citedby an arbitrarily devised acronym. Part Two contains citations.Selection has been made from various materials owned by the MorrisSwett Library. Inclusion of an item, or ommission, neither impliesUSAPAS indorsement or sanction of the compiler s point-of-view.
